Agnes de Bohun, wife of Robert de Ferrers of Chartley, is said by the peerage to have been a daughter of a Humphrey de Bohun, Earl of Hereford - which Humphrey, the Complete Peerage declines to say, and so does this record. If ever proven of the fourth Earl, she would carry another Edward I descent; until then she stands honestly floored, a duchess-shaped question mark.
