✓ Alice de Rumilly, daughter of William Meschin, lord of Copeland, by Cecily de Rumilly, Lady of Skipton: a genealogy of William de Forz names 'Aliciam de Rumeleya' daughter of 'Willielmus de Mechines primus haeres de Sciptun in Craven', who married 'Willielmo filio Duncan' and was buried at Fountains; the Cronicon Cumbriae gives her (less reliably) as daughter of Robert de Rumilly and of a daughter of William Meschin. Clay: she 'succeeded her brother Ranulf in her father's lands in Copeland, and her mother in the honour of Skipton'. 'Aaliz de Rumelli' gave land to Pontefract 'for the soul of my lord William son of Duncan'; m. 2ndly (before 1156) Alexander fitz Gerold. Mother of Amabel, Lady of Egremont.
