Wired 23 Jul 2026.): ANNABELLA, dau. of Ulick Burke (a son of 'ULICK OF THE WINE') of Clanrickard, co. Galway; wife of Teige an-Chomhaid; mother of Turlogh Donn (our line). IDENTIFICATION (web-search 23 Jul 2026): her grandfather 'Ulick of the Wine' = ULICK AN FHIONA BURKE, 3RD CLANRICARDE / Mac William Uachtar (d.1424), son of Richard Og Burke 2nd Clanricarde (d.1387); her father Ulick was a younger son (the chief line ran through his brother William mac Ulick, 4th Clanricarde). The great NORMAN-IRISH HOUSE OF BURKE (de Burgh) of Clanricarde, whose line runs back to William de Burgh (d.1206), 'Conqueror of Connacht'. ⚠ NB the Clanricarde Burkes are COLLATERAL to the senior de Burgh EARLS OF ULSTER - so this carries NO Plantagenet blood (the famous Elizabeth de Burgh x Lionel of Antwerp marriage was in the Ulster line, a different branch). Her father's exact placement = ~ (O'Hart's cadet statement); the Clanricarde chief line above 'Ulick of the Wine' is documentable if wanted (Burke's Clanricarde / the annals). BOTH this Teige AND his father Turlogh Bog married Clanricarde Burke women (see Catherine Burke, I99659) - a father-son O'Brien/Burke double alliance. Direct ancestress.
