✓ Aubry [I], 'Albericus camerarius', father of Aubry, Count of Dammartin (charter of 1162: 'Albericus camerarius et filius eius Albericus comes de Dammartin'). His own origin is unresolved - Mathieu makes him the English Aubry de Dammartin, son of Eudes I, while Europaeische Stammtafeln (speculatively) makes him a son of Aubry de Mello and Adela de Dammartin; neither wired.
