--- de Ferrieres (Engenulf or William)

~ One of the two elder sons of Henry de Ferrieres of Tutbury and Bertha - ENGENULF or WILLIAM (Complete Peerage cannot say which) - brother of Robert, 1st Earl of Derby; father and heir of Henry de Ferrieres (living 1136) of Oakham and Lechlade, who eventually inherited the Norman lands. The rung is certain (CP: Henry of Oakham was nephew of the 1st Earl, and Lechlade was 'held by his grandfather Henry at the Domesday Survey'); only the forename is open.
