✓ A daughter (forename not recorded) of Roger de Lacy, Constable of Chester (I99847), and Maud de Clere (I99848); first wife of Alan, Lord of Galloway (I100657), m. before [19 Dec 1200/1206], d. [1201/06]; mother of Helen (Ellen) of Galloway, Countess of Winchester (I100500). The manor of Kippax, Yorkshire, was her marriage portion: Alan quitclaimed to 'Rogero de Lascy Cestrie constabulario' the advowson of Kippax ([1200/06]); in 1214 the Curia Regis Rolls record that John de Lacy 'should warrant the charters of his father Roger which Alan [of Galloway]... has concerning the maritagium of his sister'; Roger de Quincy, Helen's husband, later held Kippax. Balfour Paul's 'daughter of Reginald Lord of the Isles' as Alan's first wife is not supported (MedLands). RING 28 Oct 2026 into Roger de Lacy x Maud de Clere.
