Clare lands; parties include HENRY IEVERS Esq (P1 - our Col. Henry the builder) and 'IEVERS (otherwise FITZGERALD), of Mount Ievers, Co. Clare, DAUGHTER OF [party] C' (P4). This is almost certainly ELLEN herself - the Colonel's widowed mother, alive 1738, receiving her annuity/jointure - and the indexer's 'daughter of C' means PARTY C OF THE SAME DEED IS HER FATHER, NAMED IN THE MEMORIAL. Identification of party C (via a memorial-66547 search or the FamilySearch image of Vol 93 p.499) = the single document that names Ellen's father directly. ALSO: settlement of 18 Jan 1752 (Vol 154 p.179, mem. 103266) includes AUGUSTINE IEVERS Esq (P2) beside Henry Ievers (P1) - Col. Henry's son Augustin (LGI p.342: 'Augustin, m. Susan dau of - O'Brien, d.1769') - an Ievers grandson named AUGUSTINE, strong onomastic corroboration that Ellen's father was an Augustine FitzGerald.
