About

Geoffrey, Count of Perche, ruled the wooded march between Normandy and Chartres, of the Rotrou house whose sons fought in the Reconquista and at Jerusalem. His daughter Margaret became the first Countess of Warwick, and through her the Perche blood entered the English earldoms and this line.
