About

Henry de Bunbury inherited from his brother Roger, who died without issue about 1362 - and Ormerod, reading the rolls closely, suspects Henry himself died in Roger's lifetime, leaving a son to take the double inheritance. The pedigree preserves even its own uncertainties, which is why it can be trusted with everything else.
