Herleva (wife of Archbishop Robert)

Herleva was the wife of Robert, Archbishop of Rouen and Count of Evreux, in the frank old Norman fashion that let a count-archbishop keep a wife and endow his sons. Through her son Richard, Count of Evreux, her blood runs to Bertrade de Montfort and into this line. She shares a name, and nothing else, with the Conqueror's mother.
