~ John Calf (le Veel), baron of Norragh, nephew and heir of Bishop Walter Calf's line: DIB records that the family estates 'passed to his nephew John' after Sir Walter Calf (d. c.1334), William (Walter's son) having predeceased his father. Father of Robert Calf by inference from DIB's statement that Elizabeth Calf was Bishop Walter's great-great-niece; d. 1356 per online trees (WikiTree), not checked. Graded ~.
