Marriage: UPGRADED 5 Jul 2026 (evening): DOCUMENTED as a marriage licence bond - PROI "Marriage Licence Bonds, Diocese of Killaloe" index (image pulled by Aynsley): "Evans, Elizth and John Elliott, 1771". Index entry only (the bonds themselves burned 1922; no parish given), but the bond attests a real 1771 licence marriage - and a licence bond is a CHURCH OF IRELAND instrument, corroborating the family's CoI milieu before the Golden shift. BY-CATCH on the same page: "Evans, Mary and George ACRES, 1774" - the Evans and Acres families intermarrying in the same diocese three years later, a second thread between the two surnames a generation before Robert Elliott m. Alice Acres.
