Lady Margaret FitzGerald was a daughter of the Earl of Desmond, head of the Desmond Geraldines, by his second wife More O'Carroll. She married Thomas, fourteenth Baron of Kerry and Lixnaw, and was the mother of the fifteenth. She died in 1563, some twenty years before her husband's rebellion.
