Mabel Pincherdon

Mabel Pincherdon, daughter and coheiress of Sir John Pincherdon, married Sir Henry Raleigh at the top of the visitation pedigree, and her family's cross-moline entered the Raleigh quarterings for good - an heiress remembered chiefly by the heraldry her marriage left behind, which is its own kind of monument.
