✓ Margery Fitton, da. of Hugh Fitton of Bollin and sister of Edmund Fitton (d. 1296), who gave her lands in Chorley on her marriage to Robert son of Robert de Downes (Leycester: 'Edmund Fitton gave all his lands in Chorley in free marriage with Margery his sister'). The Fitton chart draws her below Edmund, but its own legend calls Edmund 'her brother'. RING into Fitton of Bollin (F101287). Source: Ormerod, History of Cheshire (1819), vol.
