✓ Mathilde, widow of Osbert de Preaux (d. c.1172) and wife of Henri II, Count of Eu; mother of Alix. Her daughter's charter calls William, Earl Warenne, her uncle; Medieval Lands therefore supposes her a daughter of Hamelin, Earl of Surrey, by an unrecorded earlier wife (she cannot be Isabel de Warenne's daughter, having had children by 1172) - parents NOT wired.
