About
Sibyl Corbet, daughter of Robert Corbet of Alcester, was a mistress of Henry I and mother of his natural son Reginald, Earl of Cornwall, before - or while - she married the chamberlain Herbert FitzHerbert. Through her legitimate son she is our ancestress; through Reginald she is kin to the Cornish earls.
