✓ SIR THOMAS GREENE of Greens Norton (d.1417), m. MARY TALBOT (our line - she brings a SECOND Edward I descent). II (1388/9) - chronologically a daughter of the Sir Thomas Greene who died 1391, i.e. an AUNT (or near-kinswoman) of this Sir Thomas. Her granddaughter-heiress Elizabeth Freville carried Tamworth Castle to Thomas Ferrers (2nd son of the 5th Lord Ferrers de Groby) - so the de Clare-blooded Tamworth Ferrers were ALSO Greene kin, one branch over from our own Greene line. Collateral, note-only - yet another case of the same marriage-pool braiding beside our line without crossing it.
