About

William de Bunbury appears in 1379 as grantee of putures in Stanney - feudal rights of board and lodging, the small legal money of the March - in a deed that names Alice beside him, perhaps his mother. From such scraps Ormerod assembled the spine of the pedigree, and the scraps hold.

Father of Richard (d.1459, our line). Ormerod interposed him as one of the 'two additional generations' the descent requires. Direct ancestor. Added 23 Jul 2026.
