Research notes

✓ DOCUMENTED (web-confirmed 8 Aug 2026). LOOP: wired as a son of the 5th Earl of Derby (I100491) x Margaret de Quincy (I100492), so Anne de Ferrers's line braids into the Ferrers Earls of Derby. Added 8 Aug 2026. ||WIFE CONFLICT - NOT WIRED (8 Aug 2026)|| CP GREY DE WILTON (entry II, supplied by Aynsley) calls his 1st wife 'Joane, da. of Hugh le Despencer', but the published C.P. Correction (soc.gen.medieval) names her ANNE DURWARD. Which wife mothered our William 1st Baron (I100597) is not established either - so NO wife is wired here; both candidates note-only.
