William de Stuteville

~ William de Stuteville, son of Osmund de Stuteville and Isabel of Gressenhall (Domesday Descendants); 'Willelmus de Estutevilla' gave the church of Ayton in Cleveland to Whitby [1180/96]. Medieval Lands shows him as [probably] father of William de Stuteville of Gressenhall (d. by 1259), while Europaische Stammtafeln identifies the two as one man - the intermediate generation is therefore bracketed; entered ~.
