The Damery Family

An interactive ancestral chart for Aynsley Norman Damery — Cork, Ireland

Compiled June–August 2026 from the West Cork parish registers, the Registry of Deeds, wills, Brady's clergy records, Burke's and the standard peerage and royal pedigrees. 1,362 direct ancestors across forty-six graded generations, from a man named Damery arriving in Bandon about 1690 to twenty-two documented royal houses and eighteen sovereign crowns: England, Scotland, Germany, the kingdoms of Wales, the three Irish kingships, France, Aragón, Castile, León and Navarre, Normandy, the Frankish empire, Italy, Kiev, Sweden and the Crusader crown of Jerusalem. Above each crown, the pedigrees are flagged note-only where they thin toward myth. Some ancestors recur on many branches at once, Charlemagne on hundreds of them: that is not an error but pedigree collapse made visible, the same few medieval families folding back into every line. Where a recurring ancestor's line has already been drawn in full, later appearances are folded to a single ⟲ card rather than drawn again, so the collapse is recorded without burying the tree in repetition.
