About
Angharad ferch Maredudd, daughter of King Maredudd ab Owain of Deheubarth, was queen of Wales twice over: by Llywelyn ap Seisyll she was mother of Gruffudd ap Llywelyn, the only king ever to rule all Wales; by Cynfyn ap Gwerystan she was mother of Bleddyn, founder of the second house of Powys. Both sons' lines run to us; she is a double-bed ancestress.
