Catharine Butler of Polestown

~ Catharine, 'daughter of Richard Butler of Boelick [Polestown], otherwise called Mac-Richard Boelicke' (Lodge vi p.222); wife of Sir Edmund Butler, Lord of Dunboyne; mother of James (d. 1508). Her father is either Sir Richard Butler of Polestown (I99741) or his son Edmund MacRichard (I99740, d. 1464), the grandfather of Piers 8th Earl of Ormond - Lodge's phrasing fits both, so the ring is left unwired.
