About
Elizabeth Trussell was the daughter and heiress of Sir Edward Trussell of Kibblestone in Staffordshire, and she married John de Vere, fifteenth Earl of Oxford. She was born about 1496 and died before July 1527, predeceasing her husband by many years. It was through her mother, Margaret Dun, that the printed pedigrees once offered this family a road to Edward the Third; the road was tested and does not exist.

Stafford by MARGARET DUN; b. c.1496, d. before July 1527 (predeceased her husband; had 8 children); Countess of Oxford, 2ND wife of the 15th Earl (m. 1507x1509; his childless 1st wife was Christian Foderingey).
