✓ Hugues XI, called le Brun, Count of La Marche and Angouleme, Sire de Lusignan in Poitou; m. Yolande, da. of Pierre Mauclerc, Duke or Count of Brittany; father of Hugues XII and of Mary (m. 1249 as a child Robert de Ferrers, Earl of Derby). Son of Hugh X de Lusignan by Isabella of Angouleme, widow of King John - which is why CP calls Mary 'the King's niece' (Henry III's half-brother's daughter). RING into Hugh X and Isabella.
