About
Malusha was housekeeper to Princess Olga of Kiev and the mother, by Sviatoslav, of Vladimir the Great. Her son was taunted in his youth as the son of a slave. He became the man who christianised the Rus and was made a saint. Her own story rests on tradition rather than record and is graded accordingly.
