✓ Margaret, wife of David (FitzDavid) de Barry, Lord of Olethan (d. 12 May 1347): 'The King took into protection Margaret, who was wife of David de Barry, her men, etc.' - Patent Roll [I.] 29 Edw. III (1355), quoted by Rev. E. Barry, who shows that Archdall's 'Matilda, or Mary, his wife' is a misreading of Margaret. Archdall: 'He died the 12th of May, 1347, leaving by [Margaret] his wife Sir David, his heir, in his minority' - so ~ as mother of David 6th Lord (I101761), a minor 1348-51. Her parentage is not recorded. Source: Rev.
