✓ AS TO HERSELF (Burke's LGI p.270): MARGARET, 4TH DAU. of Col. RICHARD PENNEFATHER of NEW PARK, co. Tipperary; m. Feb 1812 Ambrose Going of Ballyphilip. ~ HER PLACE IN THE PENNEFATHER PEDIGREE IS UNWIRED: she is almost certainly a descendant of MATTHEW PENNEFATHER x LEVINA KINGSMILL of New Park (F99012), which would make her a cousin of the compiler - but Burke's p.270 does not give her father's own descent, and this tree does not yet carry Col. Richard. Left DELIBERATELY UNWIRED per the evidence-weighting standard until one document places Col. Richard in the New Park succession.
