About
Mary Jones was the daughter of Dr Henry Jones, Bishop of Meath, by his first wife Jane Cullum, and she married Sir Henry Piers, first baronet. Her father is the man who gave the Book of Kells to Trinity College Dublin. She should not be confused with the Joneses of Drombeg, who are a wholly different family and appear elsewhere in this tree.
