Maud de St Hilary, da. and heir of James de St Hilary of Field Dalling, was twice a countess: first wife of Roger de Clare, 2nd Earl of Hertford (mother of Richard, 3rd Earl, a Magna Carta surety), and then wife of William d'Aubigny, 2nd Earl of Arundel (mother of the 3rd Earl of Arundel).
