~ IDENTIFICATION NOTE: CP 1st edn (p.144) styles her 'Maud, da. of Rhys de Verdon'; the corrected standard account (CP 2nd edn/Richardson) identifies her as MAUD LE BOTILLER, da. of THEOBALD LE BOTILLER 2nd Chief Butler of Ireland by ROHESE DE VERDUN (I100053 x I100156, already in the tree). Wired to the standard account, GRADED ~ for the older variant reading. If correct - and the modern authorities are firm - this rung LOOPS the Arundel earls onto the existing Butlers of Ireland.
