Research notes

✓ ROGER de QUINCY, 2nd Earl of WINCHESTER, Constable of Scotland (c.1195-1264), son of SAER de QUINCY the Magna Carta surety (I99841, already in the tree); m. Helen of Galloway; father of Margaret (m. Ferrers) and Helen (m. la Zouche), both our line. This rung LOOPS onto the existing Saer de Quincy - and both the Ferrers and Zouche side-doors of the Berkeley marriage run through him. Standard well-documented English baronial genealogy (CP; web-confirmed 7 Aug 2026); contested rungs note-only, not hardened.
