Alice Blanche White was born in England in 1873 and married Richard William Jones. Through her the White, Ievers, Lane and Hunt inheritances reach this family, and with them, unremarked for two centuries, the descent from the Earls of Oxford. She died in 1958.

Baptism: C of E parish register, St Bartholomew, Chichester, no. 480: father Hugh Brady White, Army Medical Department, of West Gate; mother Alice Jane. Baptised at Chichester while her father was posted there.
Death: Cork civil death register 1958, No. 487 (cert. 04132673): Alice Blanche Jones, widow, aged 85, housekeeper, of Thomond, Hartlands Ave; cardiac failure / arteriosclerosis; informant her daughter Alice D. Damery, present at death; reg. 12 Nov 1958. Supersedes a vague "Dec 1958".
Marriage: Belfast Newsletter, 21 Jan 1901: "JONES-WHITE - January 17, at Blackrock Church, by the Rev. R. Jones, D.D., uncle of the bridegroom, Richard Jones, son of the late Harry Jones, Drombeg, Glandore, Co. Cork, to Alice Blanche White, second daughter of the late Surgeon-Major Hugh B. White, M.D., and granddaughter of the late Newport White, of Kilmoylan, Co. Limerick."
