Research notes
✓ BRIDGET, da. of GEORGE RALEIGH, of Thornburgh, co. Warwick (kin of the great Sir Walter's Devon house, degree note-only); wife of Sir William Kingsmill; mother of Sir Francis (our line). The RALEIGH of Thornburgh line above, note-only. Source: Burke's LGI 1912 edn ('Bruce-Kingsmill of Hermitage Park', printed p.235, archive.org full-text sweep 6 Aug 2026, cross-confirmed by the 1912 Pennefather (p.418: 'Matthew Pennefather m. Levina Kingsmill, heir of Ballyowen, aft. New Park') and De Burgh of Oldtown articles, and by the LGI 1899 pp.369-71 photographs); OCR-derived details to be verified against the page images; contested rungs note-only. ||MOTHER FOUND - CANDIDATE, NOT YET WIRED (8 Aug 2026)|| Bridget's mother appears to be JANE CONINGSBY, wife of George Raleigh of Farnborough/Thornborough (multiple pedigree sources; grade ~ pending the Visitation of Warwickshire 1619 'Raleigh of Farnborough', which should name George's wife outright). NB the tree separately holds an Elizabeth Coningsby (wife of Sir Richard Berkeley of Stoke Gifford) - if both are Coningsby of Hampton Court, two of our lines took Coningsby wives.
