First wife of Ambrose Lane of Lanes Park. LINE EXTENDED 13 Jul 2026 (Burke's LG 1850 vol 2, GABBETT of Caherline article, scan p.822): 'Eleanor, wife of Ambrose Lane, of Lanespark, co. Tipperary', dau. of John Gabbett of Rathjordan, Co. Limerick (d. 29 Sept 1707) by Eleanor, dau. of Thomas Lloyd of Tower-hill. Corroborated from the Lane side: ROD 166/321/111715 (1754) settles a common recovery of the RATHJORDAN lands - her family's estate moving through her son's settlement. Grade ~ (Burke's secondary + deed corroboration; her Gabbett parents entered). Note: the Gabbett arms are ARG. A WILD BOAR CHAINED TO AN OAK-TREE PPR. - the boar seen near 'Lanes Park' in Burke's belongs to this family, not the Lanes. Added July 2026; extended 13 Jul 2026.
