About
Elizabeth Gosnell was of a family so long settled at Kilnameela that the parish registers practically alternate the two surnames with the Damerys. She married James Damery and raised her children on the farm there in the 1820s and 1830s. When the Famine broke that world she followed her children to America and ended her days in her daughter's household in Granby, Connecticut, where she lived on until 1887, described in the record as an invalid.
