'Ellinor Lane of Lanespark, one of the daus of' John Lane of Lanespark, Esq - party to marriage articles dated 17 Jun 1749 (reg. 29 Apr 1751) with Mathew Lane jnr of Little Field (Littlefield), Co. Tipperary, 'younger son and heir' of Mathew Lane snr, Gent, and Mary his wife - a marriage between the Lanespark and Littlefield Lane branches (the Littlefield Mathews = the Killenaule/Mathew cadet line from William II's son Mathew; cf.
