DOCUMENTED (Burke's LGI, 'Tabuteau-Herrick of Shippool'): Falkiner Herrick, of Shippool, b. 1729; m. 1st, Jun 1753, Sarah, eldest dau. of Thomas Bousfield, of Cork (issue: Thomas Bousfield his heir; Francis, killed at Guadaloupe 1795; JANE m. Rev. Ambrose Hickey - our line; Elizabeth d. unm.); m. 2ndly, 22 Jul 1763, Harriet Graham; d. 28 Jun 1775. Named for his mother's family - his mother was Elizabeth, dau. of Caleb Falkiner of the city of Cork. His brother Edward, Lieut. R.N., was killed aboard the Dorsetshire in Sir Edward Hawke's action, 20 NOV 1759 (⚠ date corrected 7 Aug 2026 - Burke's prints '20 Sept.', but Hawke's action was QUIBERON BAY, 20 Nov 1759, where the Dorsetshire fought in his line; see @I99024@).
