DOCUMENTED (upgraded July 2026 from Burke's LGI, 'Tabuteau-Herrick of Shippool', read in print by Aynsley): '1. Jane, m. Rev. Ambrose Hickey' - verbatim. Dau. of Falkiner Herrick of Shippool (1729-1775) by his 1ST wife (m. Jun 1753) Sarah Bousfield, eldest dau. of Thomas Bousfield of Cork; so b. c.1754-63, fitting the 1787 Hickey marriage. Her brothers: Thomas Bousfield Herrick of Shippool (b. 1754, the heir) and Francis, Capt. 27th Regt., KILLED AT GUADALOUPE 1795; sister Elizabeth d. unm. aged 36. Herrick pedigree runs to John Herrick (b. 1612, to Ireland with Ormonde 1641) - see the chain above. Marriage: Rev. Ambrose Hickey DD x Jane Herrick, m. 1787 (Alumni Dublinenses / Brady-derived account via WikiTree Hickey-3430). Jane is his only recorded wife, hence recorded as mother of Anne (b. c.1798); grade ~ until confirmed in Brady's Clerical and Parochial Records in print.
