About
John Hunt of Glangoole and Curragh Chase was born in 1633 and died in 1736, according to Cokayne, at the alleged age of a hundred and three. The two dates were recorded by people who had no idea they were corroborating each other, and they agree exactly. He married a daughter of the Reverend John Hicks, rector of Kilcooley.
