John le Strange 2nd Baron Strange of Blackmere

John le Strange, second Baron Strange of Blackmere, held the Shropshire barony through the first campaigns of the Hundred Years War and died in 1349, the year the Great Pestilence reached the March. He married Ankaret le Boteler, and through their line the Strange barony descended to the Talbots.
