About
Malcolm the Third, called Canmore, took the Scottish throne after killing Macbeth's stepson and held it for thirty-five years. He married Margaret of Wessex, whose piety reshaped his kingdom, and he died raiding Northumberland in 1093. Shakespeare has him as the boy prince at the end of the play.

(2ndly) the English princess St Margaret; killed at Alnwick 1093. Son of Duncan I (the House of Dunkeld above him note-only, extendable).
