Mary Kelly was a daughter of John Kelly of Maryborough in Queen's County and she married Benjamin Bunbury of Killerig. Her granddaughter married John Lane of Lanespark, which is how the Bunburys enter this family.

✓ DOCUMENTED (Burke's Peerage & Baronetage, BUNBURY (Bart. of Stanney) + RICHARDSON-BUNBURY lineages (pp.331-32), photographed & read 23 Jul 2026.): MARY, dau. of JOHN KELLY of Maryborough (Portlaoise); 2nd wife of Mathew Bunbury of Kilfeacle. Burke's makes her the mother of daughters ELIZABETH (our line, m. John Lane of Lanespark) and ANNE (m. Robert Lane) - so entered as Elizabeth's mother, though the 1727 deed's 'eldest dau' leaves an Anne-Blount alternative (flagged on I99013/I99075). Direct ancestress (grade ~ on the maternity).
