Onneca Fortunez was a daughter of Fortun the One-Eyed, the hostage-king of Pamplona, and she had shared his Cordoban exile, marrying there before returning home. As mother of Queen Toda she is the hinge between the fallen Arista dynasty and the Jimenez one - and, through Toda's caliphal kinship, part of the strangest cousinage in this tree.
