Sir Thomas Tyrrell

Sir Thomas Tyrrell of Heron, East Horndon, the Speaker's son, held the family's Essex estates through the Wars of the Roses and died in 1476. He married Anne Marney of Layer Marney, and their granddaughter carried the line into the Haute household at Ightham Mote, and so toward the Woodville court.
