About
John Raleigh married Rose, daughter and heiress of Sir Peter Helion - the marriage that brought the Helion quarter into the Raleigh arms, exactly as the heralds later drew it. He stands mid-ladder in the visitation pedigree that carries this line from Warwickshire toward Edward I.
