The identification of Ida, mistress of Henry II and Countess of Norfolk (I100161), as his daughter is a modern finding (P. C. Reed, 'Countess Ida, mother of William Longespée', The American Genealogist 77, 2002); Medieval Lands prints 'Ida, daughter of ---'. Ida's rung = ~; Raoul's own ancestry above = ✓.
