Research notes
✓ Maud, 2nd wife of Brian FitzAlan (m. before 2 Jul 1297, when they were jointly enfeoffed of Bellister in Tyndale); widow living 10 Apr 1340, when she had licence to endow a chaplain at Egglestone for the souls of John de Grey of Rotherfield and the said Brian; buried in the Black Friars, York. Her parentage is not given by Complete Peerage; some modern accounts call her Maud de Balliol, sister of King John Balliol - not verified, not wired.
