Brother Richard; uncle (avunculus) Robert son of Mauger - which suggests he was a grandson of MAUGER, the Domesday tenant (1086) of William de Percy and Ilbert de Lacy at Hazlewood, Edlington, etc., 'though not necessarily in the male line' (Mauger NOT wired). Younger son Mauger was ancestor of the Vavasours of Denton and Weston. Wife not recorded. Source: Complete Peerage vol.
